  CALCULATORS
          Calculators courtesy of Granite Rock

THE CONCRETE.com series of online Construction Calculators will help you estimate the amount of material that you will need for your construction jobs.  There are two distinct calculators according to their particular use, as follows:

The Unit Conversion Calculators allow you to easily convert between various English and Metric units for length, area, volume, weight, temperature, pressure and force.

The Concrete Calculators help you to estimate the concrete volume required for a pour of placement, the volume of concrete needed to fill a block wall, and the volume of concrete needed in a column.

Note that you can cut and paste values between the various construction calculators.  For instance, you could take the result from the concrete volume calculator (which gives results in cubic yards) and plug it into the volume conversion calculator to convert your results to cubic meters.

IMPORTANT!

In order to use the Conversion Calculators, you must be using an up-to-date browser that supports JavaScript.

We strongly recommend using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 SP1 or greater as it meets and/or exceeds over 90% of the W3 Standards.  The Calculators have been adapted specifically to run with Internet Explorer.  You can download a current version of Internet Explorer directly from Microsoft by clicking here:
